Program: Managing Maalox Moments Assertively and Confidently

HOW TO BRING THIS INFO TO YOUR TEAM
So you attended the Maalox Moments program and you want to bring the information to your team. The following will help you get the message to your group.

FIRST STEP
As I mentioned in the meeting, the first thing to do is set a date and time for your meeting. I encourage you to allow an hour to present the information and to start to use it.

PURPOSE OF YOUR MEETING
It's important for your team to understand WHY this topic is important to them personally and professionally. Explain that the purpose of the meeting is to share what you learned at this session ... and that the information will help everyone deal with challenging people and challenging situations at the office with patients and team mates and with family, friends and foes!

THE HANDOUT
Click here to view a printable handout   Please note:  This outline was developed by Suzanne Boswell and Jean Corcoran, Ph.D.  Handout use is restricted to the individuals who were in attendance at the meeting AND is to be used solely for the purpose of in-office team discussion.  The handout is to be duplicated and used for NO other purpose.

HOW TO GET THE TEAM INVOLVED
The more interactive your meeting is, the more effective it will be.  The words and the techniquest you use with team are very important.  Here are 2 articles that I encourage you to read prior to your meeting.  I strongly encourage you to access this information"

THE AAO PROGRAM AUDIO
If you purchased the AAO audio cassettes, you may use this as accompaniment for your meeting.  You can stop and start the audio to conduct your own discussions and role plays.
